New RockShox REVERB AXS - wireless dropper post for tall guys as well

03.04.2025

RockShox introduces a new generation of their wireless dropper post, Reverb AXS. What are the main changes at this wireless post between generations?

RockShox Reverb AXS: Effortless Control, Anytime, Anywhere.

Mountain bikers adjust their seat height constantly throughout a ride, and Reverb AXS keeps this action fast and effortless. Powered by AXS Technology, the customization of controllers gives riders a seamless on-trail experience by integrating shifting and dropper functions, making them extensions of the rider. Reverb AXS is as easy to install as it is to remove, with simple maintenance ensuring more riding time.

AXS Integration, Seamless Activation

Reverb AXS integrates seamlessly into the AXS ecosystem through wireless controls that unlock unparalleled customization options and precise actuation. With no hoses or routing required, installation is a breeze—grab a multitool, and you’re ready to go.

The AXS ecosystem is focused on simplifying the complex to enhance the riding experience. Once installed, the ultimate personalized cockpit is at your fingertips with the SRAM AXS app. It allows riders to assign controllers to activate shifting and a dropper post in the configuration that works best for them.

By sharing a battery, controller, and charger with all other SRAM AXS-enabled components, Reverb AXS eliminates unnecessary complications, leaving you with more time on your hands to enjoy the ride.

Travels you want

Built for GX, X0, and XX riders, Reverb AXS ensures smooth control and reliability for every rider running a 100mm up to a 250mm dropper post in 25mm increments, all with improved battery clearance. Reverb AXS offers exceptional value, bringing wireless dropper technology to an even broader range of riders.

Built Tough. Easy to Maintain.

The new RockShox Reverb AXS features a robust air-over-air design that is easy to service. Its battery placement allows for quick disassembly without special tools. This efficient design is supported by a complete portfolio of replacement parts, including upper tubes, piston assembly, lower tubes, seat clamp, electronic modules, and inner base assembly.

Designed for long-term performance, Reverb AXS requires standard lubrication every 300 hours of ride time (approximately 1 year), and with our two-year service kit, routine maintenance becomes even more streamlined.

Demystifying Air-Over-Air

At top-out, the air-over-air design puts the rider atop a specially designed air spring chamber with virtually no negative air spring. This delivers a firm and supportive platform for the rider. Once the valve is activated and the post moves into its travel, ActiveRide is engaged. ActiveRide introduces a negative air chamber that balances pressure with the positive chamber, enabling enhanced comfort and control during technical climbs.

ActiveRide Technology

RockShox Reverb AXS’s new air-only internals introduce ActiveRide, a built-in compliance system that enhances traction on steep, technical trails. Fully extended, Reverb AXS is rock-solid; but when dropped, ActiveRide engages, delivering extra responsiveness and comfort.

Dropping your saddle will help you maintain cadence and control when tackling technical climbs on an E-MTB. A traditional post can keep you bouncing, but ActiveRide keeps you grounded and in control, boosting climbing efficiency on an E-MTB while subtly smoothing the ride.

New RockShox Reverb ASX

Reverb AXS completes the AXS ecosystem by giving the rider customizable controls, easy installation, and a shared battery, charger, and controller. Built for GX, X0, and XX riders, Reverb AXS ensures smooth control and reliability for every rider running a 100mm up to a 250mm dropper post, all with improved battery clearance.
