Fizik helmets - new addition to Fizik portfolio

07.04.2025

The Italina manufacturer of cycling shoes, saddles and bar tapes, Fizik, is venturing into an entirely new and (for them) unknown field this year. Now you can find helmets under this legendary brand! Let's take a look at their range.

Fizik Kudo

Kudo is a high-performance, half-shell cycling helmet for road, gravel, and cross-country MTB riding. It prioritizes ventilation and weight reduction and is built for intense efforts on hot days, long climbs, and high-output rides while adhering to the highest safety standards.

COOL, UNCOMPROMISING VENTILATION
Kudo’s sleek, round profile minimizes volume, reducing wind resistance and providing optimal thermoregulation. Integrated vents ensure superior cooling, making it ideal for maintaining performance during challenging efforts. Additionally, Kudo is certified to both EU and CPSC standards, providing top-tier impact protection. Top side vents securely hold sunglasses when not in use.

SHAPED FOR SAFETY
The helmet’s smooth, rounded shape is crafted to reduce surface grip during impact, potentially lessening the force's intensity during a crash. A crossbridge element embedded into the EPS foam further enhances impact protection by efficiently distributing forces across the helmet, contributing to a comprehensive safety approach.

MIPS AIR NODE SYSTEM
Kudo features the latest MIPS Air Node safety system, which is seamlessly integrated into the padding. This ultralight, low-friction layer dissipates rotational forces during a crash while remaining low-profile and easily removable for cleaning.

DIALED-IN FIT
Kudo’s fit system offers advanced adjustability with a micrometric dial at the occipital stabilizer, allowing for tilt adjustments for a personalized fit and eyewear compatibility. The retention system includes a bespoke crown adjustment feature, enabling riders to fine-tune the fit to the exact shape of their head. Lightweight ripstop webbing around the ears adds to adjustability and comfort.

INTEGRATED VISIBILITY
Kudo integrates a removable passive reflector at the rear for added safety to enhance visibility. A USB-rechargeable LED taillight, fitted through the same port, offers multiple lighting modes for day and night use.

Fizik Kudo Aero

Kudo Aero is a high-performance, half-shell cycling helmet designed for disciplines where aerodynamic efficiency is crucial. Sharing much of its design with the Kudo, the Kudo Aero takes aerodynamics to the next level, making it ideal for fast-paced rides and races.

AERODYNAMIC SHELL, REAR SPOILER
The top surface of Kudo Aero features a sleek, smooth shell that promotes optimal air attachment and reduces resistance and drag. Additionally, the rear breakaway spoiler delays airflow separation, further enhancing aerodynamic performance—an impressive feature for a traditional half-shell helmet.

VENTILATION, COMFORT, AND SAFETY
Despite its aerodynamic focus, Kudo Aero doesn't compromise on comfort. Two front vents and rear heat extractors ensure efficient thermoregulation, keeping riders cool during intense efforts. The helmet is certified to both EU and CPSC standards, and its rounded shape is designed to reduce surface grip during impact, potentially lessening the force in a crash.

FURTHER IMPACT PROTECTION
The helmet’s crossbridge element, embedded in the EPS foam, efficiently distributes impact forces across the helmet for full-coverage protection. The MIPS Air Node system, seamlessly integrated into the padding, dissipates rotational forces during a crash. This low-friction layer is lightweight, easy to clean, and provides advanced protection without compromising comfort.

INTEGRATED VISIBILITY
Kudo Aero has a removable passive reflector at the rear and a USB-rechargeable LED taillight for added safety. The taillight offers multiple lighting modes for daytime and nighttime visibility, ensuring rider safety in all conditions.

Fizik Kassis

Kassis is a robust half-shell helmet designed for off-road and trail riding challenges. It is ideal for mountain biking and adventure riding. Kassis is built for extended coverage and enhanced comfort, offering a perfect balance of protection and ventilation.

FULL COVERAGE, TOUGH CONSTRUCTION
Kassis provides superior protection with solid construction and extended coverage areas, ensuring riders are well-protected in demanding off-road conditions. The helmet's compact design keeps it lightweight and agile while offering maximum protection.

ADJUSTABLE VISOR & SUNGLASS STORAGE
The breakaway, adjustable peak visor shields against mud, sun glare, and obstacles like branches. Kassis also includes secure glass storage integrated into the rear vents for added convenience, keeping your eyewear stable and easily accessible when not in use.

OFF-ROAD-READY PROTECTION
Kassis features the latest MIPS Air Node system, integrated into the padding to minimize rotational forces during impact. The crossbridge element within the EPS foam efficiently distributes impact forces across the helmet’s structure, contributing to full-coverage safety. Certified to both EU and CPSC safety standards, Kassis offers advanced protection for any off-road challenge.

INTEGRATED VISIBILITY
Kassis incorporates a removable passive reflector for increased visibility on the road and an optional USB-rechargeable LED taillight. The taillight fits into the same port and offers multiple lighting modes for daily and night use, further enhancing rider safety.

Fizik Kunee

Kunee is engineered for athletes in the time trial and triathlon disciplines who demand speed and efficiency. Designed with a singular goal—to optimize aerodynamics and enhance energy efficiency—this helmet reduces drag to help you ride faster and longer.

SHAPED FOR SPEED

Kunee's sleek surface ensures air attachment while the minimized frontal volume reduces drag. The teardrop design molds to the rider’s body, creating a smooth flow and low-pressure separation for optimal aerodynamics. With its reduced volume and lightweight construction, Kunee offers excellent comfort and stability. It allows riders to maintain their posture and perform at peak efficiency for longer. Whether racing against the clock or chasing personal bests, Kunee is built to deliver speed without compromise.

INNOVATION THROUGH CORRUGATION

Unlike many aero helmets that widen to shelter the rider's shoulders—adding bulk and resistance—Kunee uses corrugated side panels to keep turbulent air close to the helmet. This design allows smoother wind transition around the shoulders and to the back of the rider without increasing the overall volume.

A FASTER FIELD OF VISION

Kunee’s visor extends across the helmet's sides, improving frontal and peripheral vision. The visor attaches instantly with magnetic anchors; even when removed, the helmet performs aerodynamically when paired with regular sunglasses.

COOL, COMFORTABLE—QUIET

A unique frontal ventilation system above the visor, featuring a honeycomb grid, ensures optimal cooling while reducing air friction. This balanced airflow enhances both comfort and performance in aggressive riding positions. Meanwhile, engineered low-pressure areas on the sides reduce wind noise, providing greater comfort and focus.
