What is XYSTO?

Xisto (pronounced: Shis-Toe) or “Schist” in English is a type of stone found in the mountains around our Portugal factory. The loose, rocky trails inspired the development of the XYSTO pedal.

Will XYSTO pedals make me faster?

No. But a XYSTO pedal prototype won a UCI World Championship in 2024. These pedals have been developed in collaboration with Commencal/Les Orres, Remy Metallier, Mitch Ropelato, and Brayden Bringhurst.

What warranty and service options are available for TIME XYSTO pedals?

SRAM’s 2-year warranty covers TIME XYSTO pedals, and they are not serviceable.

Does the XYSTO pedal have adjustable or replaceable grip pins?

Yes. XYSTO pedals use the same adjustable and replaceable pins as our Speciale pedals.
