Fourth generation of Cannondale Moterra e-bikes is here

15.04.2025

Close your eyes and picture your perfect trail. Go ahead. There are no wrong answers here - just lots of ways to get it absolutely right. The new Moterra is here.

The new Moterra is for the seekers, the adventurers, the go-fast and go-long riders who live to see what’s over the next ridge and the one after that. Built around Bosch’s most powerful drive unit and biggest battery, the new Moterra is lighter, plusher, and more sleekly integrated than ever. Generations of non-stop refinement have created an incredibly balanced machine, with intuitive, predictable handling that takes the drama out of clutch situations. It’s the perfect rig for those who love seeing everywhere they can go on two wheels.

The new Moterra LT is for the senders, the givers, the full-throttle chargers drawn to the steepest, roughest, chunkiest lines on the hill. Boasting the same improvements as the Moterra but with more aggressive geometry, dialed suspension kinematics, and a burly mullet-wheel setup, Moterra LT is all about going big. Big travel, huge range, and endless capability. If you’ve got the guts, it’s got the giddy-up.

So go on. Get out there. Make the most of the time you’ve got. Live the singletrack life you deserve to live. If you can dream it, there’s a Moterra that’ll help you do it - and do it well. Ride on, friends.

Cannondale Moterra CRB

More Juice, No Excuse.

The new Moterra Carbon is more than capable—it’s relentless. With a light and agile frame wrapped around Bosch's most powerful drive system, it handles steep ascents and rugged descents with the confidence of a luxury off-roader. Built for the seekers, the adventurers, the riders who live to see what’s over the next ridge. Go far. Go fast. Come back happy.

Light, Nimble, Ready.

Designed for riders who refuse to compromise, the all-new Moterra comes out swinging for 2025. A new full carbon frame, along with e-system small parts, shaves almost a kilo off the previous generation, while the updated geometry and suspension kinematics deliver incredibly balanced handling and a more planted, “in-the-bike", feel. Overall, it takes Moterra’s agility and all-around capability to new heights. With 150mm of rear travel, 160mm up front, and 29" wheels, it’s lively on the descents, steady on climbs, and precise in techy stuff - with the kind of responsiveness that makes you forget you’re riding an eMTB. Less weight, more freedom, and all the control you need—ready to tackle whatever the trail throws your way.

Power to the Pedal.

Moterra gets its all-conquering boost from the latest version of Bosch’s most powerful drive system. The updated Performance Line CX drive unit delivers its powerful torque more quietly, smoothly, and naturally than ever before, slaying even the nastiest climbs with silent ease. At the same time, the massive 800 or 600Wh interchangeable battery options offer the range to roll for hours. Whether conquering steep climbs or cruising alpine paths, this system ensures maximum power and battery longevity, ride after ride.

Dialed for You.

We didn’t just slap a “medium” sticker on it and call it a day. Moterra's Proportional Response™ design means every frame size gets its own specific design. Everything, from the geometry to the suspension kinematics, is completely customized by size, delivering incredibly balanced handling and a ride that feels like the bike’s reading your mind—smooth, comfortable, and always in control.

Cannondale Moterra LT

Point and Play.

The Moterra LT thrives in chaos. Point it whererever you want to go, power through climbs, and tear down descents like a moshpit in motion. With 170mm front, 165mm rear travel, a mullet wheelset, and the Bosch 800Wh battery, it plays hard, all day long.

The Strong, Silent Type.

Bosch’s most powerful motor, the Performance CX, is your stealthy sidekick, delivering huge power and serious torque, smoothly and silently. With a removable 800Wh battery integrated into the frame, you can tackle endless climbs and explore all day while keeping things low-key for both you and your riding crew. The Bosch mini remote gives you command on-demand, putting all the control right at your fingertips.

Takes Hits, Not Prisoners

A new full-carbon frame that, along with refined e-system small parts, saves almost 1000g over the previous version, plus a 170mm Fox Performance 38 fork and 165mm DHX coil shock, give the Moterra LT the hard-charging agility to rip though whatever you throw at it.

One-Size-Fits...Nobody

Forget cookie-cutter setups. The Moterra LT’s Proportional Response™ size-specific design means that everything, from the geometry to the suspension kinematics, is completely customized by size and dialed in for the kinds of aggressive shenanigans Moterra LT loves to engage in. The result is an incredibly balanced, responsive rig that feels like it was made just for you.
