Every year, Forbes magazine publishes a ranking of the Largest Family Businesses. It is a complete, as Forbes says, encyclopedia of the family business in the Czech Republic. And Aspire Sports is part of it! More in the article.

However, this year's ranking of the largest family-owned companies in the Czech Republic is special for us cyclists. Several well-known brands in the Czech cycling world are strongly represented. And Aspire Sports is not lost among them. On the contrary, it is seen very much at the top!

The Chief Commercial Director of Cycling and brother of founder Igor Dolezal, Marek Dolezal, told Forbes: "The 2023 season was the toughest in our industry since the crisis of 2009-2010. The huge excess of supply over demand brought consolidation on the market and bankruptcies of many brands - also in the Czech Republic, but especially abroad. Fortunately, we are in very good shape, although we did not avoid a small drop in sales and profits, and the situation will now slowly return to normal. We plan for moderate sales growth this year with dynamic growth from 2025 onwards."

What other companies can you also find in the ranking? For example, the Prague cycling speciality Ski and Bike Centrum Radotín, the MMR bicycle importer T.S. Bohemia, the world-famous cycling clothing manufacturer Kalas or the bicycle manufacturer 4Ever.
